Augustin, a French brand created in 1996

For nearly 30 years, Augustin has been a name in quality socks, sailor clothing, Breton ready-to-wear and accessories inspired by the sea.

The name Augustin represents the company's registered name, the trademark filed with the INPI since 1996, and the middle name of its founder, Vincent Ghestem.

Over the years, Augustin has become a recognised partner for sailor clothing professionals and specialist Breton and maritime boutiques.

A French company rooted in the heart of the textile industry

Although specialising in the Breton and maritime world, Augustin keeps its head office in Tourcoing, the historic capital of the French textile industry.

This location gives access to an environment rich in textile expertise, innovation and industrial skills, notably close to the Centre Européen des Textiles Innovants (CETI). This proximity fuels our ongoing commitment to improving the comfort, quality and durability of our products.

Augustin's head office on rue de Roubaix occupies a site emblematic of the textile industry of northern France. The modern building was constructed on the site of the former Christian Cuvelier factory, founded in 1957 and a major French manufacturer of hosiery and socks. This location represents a continuity: keeping the textile heritage of northern France alive.

Trusted by more than 400 boutiques

Since 1996, Augustin has distributed its collections to more than 400 specialist boutiques, mainly located along the French coast. Products are available in-store and online, with delivery to France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
