Augustin continues to honour and preserve the cultural and living heritage of maritime regions, following in the footsteps of the legendary Augustin the Sailor. The Brittany Spaniel is a fine example of Brittany's living heritage, alongside the black-and-white Breton cow, the Ouessant sheep, or the Rennes cuckoo hen.
