Did you know?
At first glance, the Northern Fulmar looks like a seagull or a gull, but it actually belongs to a very different family: the petrels. An excellent glider, it spends most of its life over the ocean and only comes ashore to breed.
In France, fine colonies nest on the cliffs of Cap Sizun, near the Pointe du Raz, as well as around the Bay of Douarnenez, where the cliffs offer ideal conditions for nesting. Watching them glide above the waves is one of the most fascinating sights of the Breton coastline.
With Augustin's Northern Fulmar socks, carry with you a touch of the wild beauty of the Breton cliffs and their majestic seabirds.
